ANTWERP - JUNE

Antwerp will be the next release from Make Mine Records will be coming on the 25th July. The track June (listen above), Equinox (listen here on soundcloud), Yupik and New Havoc will be on the EP available for pre-order at ROUGH TRADE.

Make Mine Records: ‘We have no idea why he’s called himself Antwerp, (we should ask), but what we do know is that this wide-eyed schizoid music maker has been firing up our imagination like no-one else of late.   Maybe it has something to do with his fearless approach – “every accidental mistake we do playing music, generates new ideas and open the gates to the irrational” – or maybe it’s simply that over the course of his tracks, muted trumpets crash into lo-fi lying guitars while a sea of electronic pulses swirl beneath forever tumbling us up and down.  Either way we’re made up to announce Antwerp’s ‘Equinox’ as our next release on July 25th.’
